Winter 2012 Class: Early Adolescents Coping with Divorce
At this developmentally vulnerable time, dealing with parents’ divorce or post divorce conflict can produce heavy reactions from 12 through 15 year olds. Learn coping skills, reduce anger. Divorce Adjustment Counseling for children, adolescents, parents, individual adults and families. Many insurances accepted. Sliding fee scale based on income and family size. Full fee $85/hour.
Private Child Custody/Parenting Time Evaluations that may be used in court. Both parents and the children must participate. A child centered assessment that considers the best interests of the child as paramount. Day, evening, weekend interviews available. Evaluations can begin within three days of initiation, if needed. $95/hour.
Step Family/Step Parenting Counseling, highly recommended before remarriage, and frequently essential afterwards to increase adjustment and cooperation. Sliding scale, insurance or $85/hour.

Consultation for Therapists or Attorneys in complex divorce or separation parenting issues. $95/hour.
Guidance and education for psychotherapists working with cases in which divorce is or has occurred. How to avoid inadvertently becoming part of the problem; recognize parental alienation; know when, how and if you should testify effectively in court in this type of case. Groups of four or more at $40/hour for each person. Individually: $85/hour.
